Industrial gas composition analysis and sample collection

No gas situation is the same. Collecting and analysing representative samples needs tailor-made solutions. Based on our extended experience and what we learned from Nature, we offer for every customer situation a matching solution. Whilst always bespoke, we base our sampling approach on two established technologies.

Sampling in a balloon

The ideal way of sampling gas without condensation caused by compression. Provides an optimal basis for analyzing the composition of the real gas.

Compressed sampling

When bigger gas volumes are required, be it for additional analysis or process development, the collection of compressed gas samples in bottles is often the best solution.

Recommendations

For the best outcome of the analysis of emission gases we recommend combining both methods.

Detailed analysis are then performed in Krajete’s own state-of-the-art labs in Pressbaum and Pasching, Austria. Here we perform a detailed composition analysis, develop and run conversion experiments and evaluate compatibilities of customer gas with our nature-inspired purification and valorization processes and technologies.

Customers then receive a detailed analysis report and tangible recommendations for gas purification solutions that will provide added value to their business.

What is industrial gas composition analysis?
It’s a lab-based check of what your gas stream is made of. We start by collecting a representative sample, then run detailed composition analysis in our own labs. Results inform if and how your gas fits our nature-inspired purification and valorisation processes, and what solution will add value to your business.
Why does representative sampling matter?
No gas situation is the same. If the sample doesn’t truly represent your process, the analysis—and any decisions based on it—can mislead. We tailor the sampling method to your setup so the lab results reflect the “real gas,” enabling reliable purification design and sound recommendations for next steps.
How do you collect gas samples?
We use two proven methods: balloon sampling and compressed sampling in bottles. Balloon sampling avoids condensation from compression, preserving the original composition. Compressed sampling is ideal when larger volumes are needed for extra analysis or process development. We recommend combining both to get the most complete picture of your gas.
Where is the gas analysis performed?
All analyses are done in Krajete’s own state-of-the-art laboratories in Pasching, Austria. Keeping work in-house lets us run detailed composition analysis, design and conduct conversion experiments, and check compatibility with our purification and valorization technologies—all under one roof for consistency and quality.
What do I receive after the analysis?
You’ll get a clear analysis report plus actionable recommendations. The report details your gas composition and summarizes any conversion experiments and compatibility checks we performed. We then outline tailored gas purification options that align with your process and highlight where our technologies can add tangible business value.
How does this service support purification and valorisation?
Accurate sampling plus rigorous lab work tells us which impurities matter and how your gas will interact with our technologies. With that evidence, we propose a tailored purification approach and identify valorization options—turning analysis into a clear plan for performance improvements and added value in your operations.
